Karkinos Clinical Research Consultants LLC is a trial management and consulting company focused on global early phase trials. We specialize in complex Phase 1/2 trials, including dose escalations, Project Optimus designs, and adaptive trials of novel oncology therapies.

We are highly experienced researchers who understand the unique challenges of early phase drug development, including slot and cohort management, compliant tissue sample collections, and management of sample analyses for safety review meetings (eg, pharmacokinetic (PK) and related analyses).

Our team takes care to not only to plan your early phase trial for success, but also for the success of future late phase trials.
About Our Name
Karkinos (kar-KEE-nos), from the Ancient Greek Καρκίνος, means "crab", and it's the original word for cancer. Hippocrates first used the term over 2,400 years ago to describe tumors whose spreading lesions reminded him of a crab's shape. When the Roman physician Celsus later translated karkinos into Latin, the term "cancer" was born. The same Greek root lives on in words like carcinoma and carcinogen.

At Karkinos Clinical Research Consultants, our name honors the ancient origins of oncology while we focus on its future: guiding you through the ever evolving clinical trial landscape, shaping tomorrow's cancer care.

Trust us to navigate the complexities of early phase oncology trials with precision and care.
